Even if our histories Are incompatible Even if knowing our survival Feels unfathomable Cos it’s been years now And I’m no longer sedatable Aware that our sense of this Won’t be relatable The heaviness an anchor Pulling me under, but keeping me On the ground I’ve gotta fully flesh this, A project, of documentation In how we will go down And then I’ll (Ooooh) Set me up And I’ll kiss the ground that birthed you (Ooooh) Set me up And I’ll kiss the ground that birthed you (Ooooh) I’ll kiss the ground that birthed you

Reckoning 03:46
After I’ve sunk my way Into oblivion Falling out, and crawling round, Picking up the pieces of my skin that I allowed Into your possession And I gave it up so easy, Think you’d try to please me But that’s changing minute by minute now Minute by minute by minute by minute now, minute by minute by minute by minute now Minute by minute by minute by minute now, miinute by minute by minute by minute now If it could be What I wanted (Pieces of my skin) If I could get What I wanted from you And if I could give (Pieces of my skin) And not send you running If I could feel (Pieces of my skin) And not see this coming After the dusk settles I’ll turn my face up again My eyes are wet and full of grit It’s building up my airways So that nothing else will fit So navigate the pain now Cos you put yourself here, and you know the end is near, You’re getting close to a reckoning Minute by minute by minute by minute now, minute by minute by minute by minute now Minute by minute by minute by minute now, miinute by minute by minute by minute now If it could be What I wanted (Pieces of my skin) If I could get What I wanted from you And if I could give (Pieces of my skin) And not send you running If I could feel (Pieces of my skin) And not see this coming (After I’ve sunk my way, after I’ve sunk my way, after I’ve sunk my way) If it could be What I wanted If I could get What I wanted from you And if I could give And not send you running If I could feel And not see this coming

I’ll admit that I wanted to hate you And that I do, and that I want to turn the love Into something else, I’ll admit that the strain of the world, the pain of the world It doesn’t distract me all the time The battle lines are drawn We keep our heads down I feel myself want to run So I don’t give into it The battle lines are drawn The silence gets louder I pull my shirt over my face Just so you don’t see me give into it, Give into it Ah huh, oh, ah huh, oh I’ll admit that I wanted to hate you And that I do, and that I want to turn the love Into something else, I’ll admit that the strain of the world, the pain of the world It doesn’t distract me all the time The battle lines are drawn We keep our heads down I feel myself want to run So I don’t give into it The battle lines are drawn The silence gets louder I pull my shirt over my face Just so you don’t see me give into it, Give into it Ah huh, oh, ah huh, oh, ah huh, oh, ah huh, oh What is it about my love, It isn’t free it isn’t easy (x 3) What is it about my love, It isn’t easy, it isn’t easy Outro (what is it about my love, what is it)

I’m always tryna find new ways to approach it You have no idea, you have no idea, you have no idea, you have no idea Had no idea You have you no idea, what I had to go through to get me here (x 4) You had clipped my wings, you had clipped my wings, You had clipped my wings, You had clipped my - had no idea I’m always tryna find new ways to approach it, a project of self and others (x 4) had no ideas and, had no idea and, had no idea, fall off the edge and I In the places, that remind you, that you’re actually on a planet Fall off the edge and I I feel like I fall off the edge I feel like the sentence i finish, uh I feel like I fall off the edge I feel like the sentence i finish, uh (You have no idea, you have no idea, you have no idea, you have no idea x 4) To look at you, Feel the absence of anything To look at you, And feel nothing (x 4) (You have no idea, you have no idea, you have no idea, you have no idea x 4)

Wait for me, Wait I felt scared but assured I took my first steps to the shore I fell asleep in between two sands then I awoke on someone else’s land I saw a dream where I played two roles One of victim and one of control [huhuhuhu] They walks through counterfeit time And all you learn forgetting is a crime Take from me, Take Wait here, wait here huh [take]

Wiggle 04:22
I turn to you when I want to, when I want to celebrate My ascent to the sky But in truth I’m refilling up alone now Getting cosmically high I’m not going to force you to feel any-anymore And that’s the gift you’ve given me So I’ll thank you Though I know you won’t be thanking me And I’m like Stationed for days, won’t give it away, hope sitting still pays And I’m like Stationed for days, won’t give it away, hope sitting still pays And I’m like Won’t give it away (ad lib) I think what I’ve given you is a taste of Accountability I think what I’ve given you is a taste of Accountability I’m gonna get busy Not rely on you needing me Though you do babe We know it’s true babe I’m going to fill up On everything you’re dry on The drought’s for you babe, We know it’s true babe I turned to you when I thought you could hold me up, Keep me checking up on myself The lengths I’d go just to prove I was worthy of you, At the risk of my own health It took me across to the other side of the earth, Just to breathe deeply in Now I can do that, and pull back my heart Without feeling like I’m, losing (I turned to) I’m like Stationed for days, won’t give it away, hope sitting still pays I’m like Stationed for days, won’t give it away, hope sitting still pays I think what I’ve given you is a taste of Accountability I think what I’ve given you is a taste of Accountability I’m gonna get busy Not rely on you needing me Though you do babe We know it’s true babe I’m going to fill up On everything you’re dry on The drought’s for you babe, We know it’s true babe I see through the way You worship the ground I walk on It allows you the distance You need while I plead But now I’m retreating My heart both heavy and full Heavy and full, my heart both heavy and full Heavy and full, my heart both heavy and full Heavy and full, my heart both heavy and full Heavy and full, my heart both heavy and full

Dusk Pt. 1 02:41
I’ll wait for the dusk to come Make those colours wait a while We can work it out Come over to my house I’ll wait for the dusk to come Make those colours wait a while We can work it out Come over to my [dusk] I’ll wait for the dusk to come Make those colours wait a while We can work it out Come over to my house I’ll wait for the dusk to come Make those colours wait a while We can work it out Come over to my house huh! If you were my everything then what I got nothing If you left for everything my breath would be stopping I swear it all I swear it on my fortune of nothing My riches of empty, of youthful promises and If you were my everything then what I got nothing If you left for everything my breath would be stopping I swear it all I swear it on my fortune of nothing My riches of empty, of youthful promises and I’ll wait for the dusk to come Make those colours wait a while We can work it out Come over to my house I’ll wait for the dusk to come Make those colours wait a while We can work it out Come over to my house huh! Meet me at the dusk but you must Meet me at the dusk Meet me at the dusk but you must……

Dusk Pt. 2 02:35
And I feel like I need ya And I fee like I need ya And I feel like I need ya And I feel like I need ya When my labour outweighs enjoyment I hold onto all my disappointment (x 2) And I feel like I need ya And I fee like I need ya And I feel like I need ya, feel like I breath ya, blue light fever So maybe you’ll have to get out of this town While it’s holding you, folding you up in its hands Celebrating everything that you were you know It understands where you come from But that’s not where you are headed (x2) And I feel like I need ya And I fee like I need ya And I feel like I need ya And I feel like I need ya [feel like I breath ya, blue light fever] And I feel like I need yaa And I feel like I need ya And I feel like I need ya, [swear that I’ll leave ya, blue light fever] Where you come from Is not where you are headed

AUR 04:13
(Elevated accessibility x 4) Climb up high on a step ladder, it’s a School night, he’s a Tall white boss with his hair weighed down By the air in that town And a sense of perversion (Elevated accessibility x 2) My foot grinds down, the other swings round Each turn bringing recollections of a new Casualty, pressed up or buried deep In this false path as if it’s a Rite of passage Think that I was too conditioned Heard too much to know the difference Between what he felt entitled to And what a new body could Invite him to Know what it feels like For a girl At her first workplace Know what it feels like For a girl At her first workplace Cos I’m starting to find bits and pieces And it stirs up more pain Than it releases Cos I’ll never find every single one of them And I won’t accept that getting old Is how it should end Know what it feels like For a girl At her first workplace (x 2) Re-remembering my own history (x 8) I’m in pieces now

Drop Gear 04:14
Sliding down between your loves I’ll admit I’m afraid Of what’s gonna come So let’s drive it down Bury this map of me And I’ll ride ahead And try out apathy But I just can’t quit it I feel illegitimate How I wanted to fall Feel you around me I’d sweat for you to let me Inside and underneath I’d worship every piece So fuck this friendship, I’ll sing it here Sink into silence, Drop it down a gear, god I’m gonna drop it down Hold it all, Press it down between ‘Til it is filling up every aching part of me So can I call your loved ones Say you won’t come back the same Cos if you’d let me change you I’ll replace you right out of their games But I just can’t quit it I feel illegitimate How I wanted to fall Feel you around me I’d sweat for you to let me Inside and underneath I’d worship every piece So fuck this friendship, I’ll sing it here Sink into silence, Drop it down a gear, god I’m gonna drop it down And if I fall Any harder I’ll have nothing left of me When you disappear I can feel ya Sucking the life out of me And I’ll let you take it Yeah I’ll let you take it Yeah I’ll let you take it Yeah I’ll let you take it But I just can’t quit it I feel illegitimate How I wanted to fall Feel you around me I’d sweat for you to let me Inside and underneath I’d worship every piece So fuck this friendship, I’ll sing it here Sink into silence, Drop it down a gear, god

I got that low grade buzz I got that low grade buzz, I’m hanging I got that low grade buzz, keeping me out of it I got that low grade buzz, I’m hanging Circling around an airfield again, I’m older now again, Got loved ones spilling out of me The dead ones are at peace now I still think of them for some release how, I’ll never hear a real life sound come out their mouths, I’m hangin Low grade buzz, keeping me out of it I got that low grade buzz, and it’s keeping me out of it I got that low grade buzz, keeping me out of it I got that low grade buzz I’m not crashing down and out, at least not yet anyway I’m not satisfied either, still tryna think of ways to please ya So I escaped into a room I booked Feel my body decomposing Make sure that I’m not imposing Have my oldest friends come up and crawl into my bed And try to settle This frequency Down Low grade buzz, keeping me out of it I got that low grade buzz, I’m hangin I got that low grade buzz, keeping me out of it I got that low grade buzz Close my eyes found someone beautiful’s hand in the dark The sun came up, we sat in silence And just like always I felt like her friends just wanted me gone But we admired each other, and I felt like The lucky one Low grade buzz, keeping me out of it I got that low grade buzz, I’m hangin I got that low grade buzz, keeping me out of it I got that low grade buzz

Huntly have doubled down on their “doof you can cry to” manifesto, marrying intimate songwriting with forward-thinking dance music.

Working between the margins of pop, R&B, techno and drum & bass, ‘Low Grade Buzz’ is an album that crafts narratives that shift suddenly in perspective and sound whilst still full of satisfying hooks and thumping codas.

‘Low Grade Buzz’ will be released 15 March 2019 via Barely Dressed Records.
